April 17, 2009: Rainy Day

LOLSCHACH's Journal: April 17, 2009:

The rain has been falling all day. Trying to wash the stain of blood and semen off of the streets. Pointless. Tried scrubbing the stairs outside my apartment once, spent hours. Was mocked and derided. Stairs remain dirty.

I get my exercise prowling the rooftops while thunder booms like a hammer hitting a gavel, judging the world: guilty. Now I must provide the punishment. Hear mugging going on in alleyway by the diner. Scramble down to it. Walk up behind the mugger, Asian male. Mid twenties. Take his head and slam it face first into the brick. Hand purse back to old lady. Slaps me and runs off. Surprised by her speed. Let her go. Next time she is mugged, LOLSCHACH will not stop it. Show her.

Walk opposite direction down the street away from ungrateful lady. The rain pouring down, soaking coat, feel chill. Not complaining though. LOLSCHACH is fine in any climate. Save tropical. Veidt tried to convince me to join him on Brazilian cruise once. Haven't considered journeying to the tropics since then. Probably full of homosexual Ricky Ricardos.

Walk past girl jumping rope. Taken aback at first. Why is a girl jumping rope in a downpour? The answer comes quickly. Hear her chanting, "April showers bring May flowers? What do May flowers bring?" Taunting me. Not unusual. Was taunted as a child, about appearance, body odor, mother's occupation. Never about lack of knowledge of May flowers. Hurm. Child repeats herself again. And again. And again.

Grab child by the collar of her dress, pull her up to my level. Looking her in the eyes while demanding an answer. The sound of her sobbing informs me she's crying. Tears mingle with rain while running down her cheeks. Repeatedly question her, she's too frightened to answer. Too frightened to mock LOLSCHACH now. Let her down, but keep firm grip on her. She finally answers. Then runs away. Makes no sense.

"Pilgrims."

March 17, 2009: Day Off

LOLSCHACH's JOURNAL: March 17, 2009

Stayed home. Fog drapes itself over the city like an oppressive mist.

Rain tickles across window panes like shell casings across blacktop.

Wet. Too wet.

Turn on TV to watch news. See children's show instead.

Reminds me of movie.

Two men. Cowboys. Riding out into the desert. Rough, tough. Happy to be embodiment of manliness. Share jokes. Watch sunset. Embrace. Kiss.

Do horrible, unclean things to each other in tent.

Lights go on. Audience stands up. Everybody claps, cries. Everybody but LOLSCHACH.

Movie wins Oscar.

Veidt sends copy to me as birthday gift. Hate him.

March 16, 2009: Ice Cream

LOLSCHACH's Journal: March 16, 2009:

Long night. Red Bull not such a good idea.

Took off face. Prepared for daily routine. Walked past landlord. Screaming child at her breast. Complained about hygiene. She smells of dozens of men, a human dumpster for the stuff babies are made of.

Rain. Angels pissing on the artifices of man, flushing out the gutters of humanity's filth, sex, and filth.

Lots of rain needed for that.

Saw Dreiberg, eating at fast food place. Big Mac. Bigger man. Soft and dumpy. Soon to take a dump.

Hungry. Decided to take a walk. Stopped by place called "Maggie Moo's." Sells cold, flavored milk products in delectable waffle cones. Potential for Oreos. Had to investigate further.

Pimple-faced high school students greet me with artificial smiles, showcasing their artificial dental appliances.

Why are there so few normal flavors of ice cream left without marketing disorders?

Walk out with two cones - one vanilla, one chocolate. Separate. Don't mix. Combine separately in the dark corners of my digestive track, melting into one cohesive lava flow of milky goodness. Knew for a brief moment what bliss was like, like Romulus and Remus sucking at the teat of a cartoon cow, filling their bellies with milky delights as she stares off in silence, probably chewing hay or grass.

The smooth talkers and intellectuals will not be satisfied and ask for their Toffee Plunges and Udderly Butter Beboppers, cramming increasingly ridiculous lies down their insatiable gullets until they've realized they've gone too far.

The world will look up and shout, "feed us!" And I'll whisper, "no."

Went home. Took a Dreiberg.
